This blog post is a little bit on the personal side. A fellow friend of mine started blogging monthly about what her kids were up to and what were the highlights of their month. If know me, you know that I have a horrible memory, so the idea of having something digital that I can look back on was so exciting to me. So here you go, the Life As We Know It Series- July Edition
Life As We Know it...
Josh and I had the opportunity to go on our first kid-free vacation to California. It's the first time we have flown (we fly a lot) without a baby, and oh was I singing and dancing. It was a great trip and we were so grateful to Grandparents for sacrificing sleep, energy, and love to be with our crazies.
Trains Zeke has recently entered a train phase. His cousin Elijah has been into trains since he could walk, but Zeke has never shown much interested, but recently we got a set from IKEA and it's all he wants to play with and do.
Potty Training - we currently have the book, Potty Train, we spend most of our days talking about not getting "Spiderman" wet (he has Thomas and Spiderman underwear). For the most part we are doing pretty well, let's see if he is just acting.
I'm loving my summer Family Sessions, I can't believe how busy the fall is looking, I'm getting really excited about familes, babies, and fall in Colorado. If you haven't booked yet, space is filling quickly.
I am currently finishing Beachbody's Shift Shop. It has been an test in discipline as a lot of speed and mobility workouts have been required. I'm excited to jump back into Crossfit with these new skills under my belt. In other news- I can finally link my double-unders again. #babybody #I'malmostback
July also brought a new church building, so we had a lot of Ikea trips for lightbulbs, stage design pieces, and tons of odds and ends.
Favorite Zeke quote from the month, Zeke, "what did you do in church today?" "Um???" (finger on his chin), "I don't know".
Walking Asher (10 Months) took 4 steps this week, he certainly has the ability but wants to keep crawling as it is faster and he can keep up with his brother.
